Joseph Kony is on the most-wanted list of the International Criminal Court for abducting children in Uganda, turning them into child soldiers of his so-called Lord's resistance army. A video by the activism organisation Invisible Children calling for the capture of Kony has gone viral. The Kings of War blog was hit by the ripple effects of this. The blog post on the video written by Jack McDonald, one of our PhD students, got 20 thousand clicks in two days. In this podcast Jack McDonald discusses the KONY2012 video and what the activists seemed to have forgotten to take into account.
